Pre-K Fives
The Pre-K Fives Preschool Classroom is a purposeful and engaging environment designed to prepare children for a confident and successful transition to kindergarten. The daily schedule includes whole group learning, small group instruction, and individual work time. Teachers introduce more complex concepts such as early reading, writing sentences, simple addition and subtraction, and scientific observation—all through hands-on, meaningful experiences. The Pre-K Fives Classroom is a dynamic, supportive space where children are challenged, encouraged, and celebrated as capable learners, ready to take the next big step into kindergarten with enthusiasm! Each day your child will participate in art, free play/exploration centers, individual work time (reading or writing), circle time, playground and lunch, along with a monthly music class.
Your child must be five by June 1 of the school year they will attend
Classes are capped at 11 children with two teachers
Brightwheel, a trusted childcare messaging platform, is utilized to send pictures and messages throughout the day
Our school is completely nut-free, so all food sent in must abide by this rule

The Fives Classroom
The Pre-K Fives Classroom is rich with opportunities for deeper learning and creativity. Areas for writing, reading, math, science, art, dramatic play, and construction are filled with materials that challenge children to investigate, solve problems, and express ideas. Children work on extended projects, practice early literacy and math skills, and begin to take ownership of their learning through choice-based activities.
